Years of requests. Relish. Gherkins. (Once, someone wanted a brine-based mouthwash. They were serious.)
But relish and gherkins were the two that kept coming back. We tried both. More than once. And every time we ended up with something that was perfectly okay, which is not the same as worth making, so they never left the building.
Until now. Fermented gherkins and two relishes, as close to right as we could get them. Sixteen years in the making.
