What is LiveBrine Pickle Juice?

LiveBrine pickle juice is made from real fermented pickles made by us here at Olive My Pickle. It's packed with probiotics and other vitamins and minerals that are beneficial for your gut and overall health. Unlike traditional pickle juice, which is straight from the jar and can be loaded with added harmful dyes and preservatives, probiotic pickle juice is much healthier—it contains no added sugars or chemicals and is rich in electrolytes. Plus, it has numerous other health benefits such as helping to reduce inflammation and boosting digestion.

While not everyone may be a fan of eating whole pickles, many people enjoy the taste of pickle juice. It has a salty, tangy flavor that can be used in smoothies or mixed with other ingredients to make delicious drinks.

Health Benefits of Pickle Juice

There are many health benefits associated with drinking pickle juice. As mentioned above, it is packed with probiotics which help improve gut health and digestion. It also contains electrolytes like sodium, potassium, and magnesium which help keep your body hydrated and can aid in muscle recovery following exercise, cramps, and even hangovers.

How To Use Probiotic Pickle Juice In Your Cocktails

Now that we know what makes probiotic pickle juice special, let's talk about how to use it in your cocktails! You can use it as a replacement for traditional ingredients like lime juice or Worcestershire sauce. You can also combine it with other flavors like cucumber or ginger for an extra kick! And because of its tangy flavor profile, it pairs perfectly with vodka or gin-based drinks like martinis or gimlets.

For a more adventurous take on the classic Bloody Mary recipe, try adding some probiotic pickle juice in additional to tomato juice—you won’t be disappointed!

Is pickle juice good with alcohol?

Fresh dill pickle juice flavor complements various alcohol flavors. They combine and provide an amazing flavor combination to create briny cocktails that are definitely crowd pleasers. You don't even need to love pickles to enjoy these drinks.

Can the good-guy bacteria that lives in LiveBrine survive alcohol?

Pickled juice advocates know this brine contains essential minerals to replenish electrolyte levels during the night. But will the lactic acid created in the fermentation process survive the combination with alcohol in cocktails. In this recent article, research shows that lactic acid bacteria is known to survive and even grow within alcohol. So fear not, you may still get all the health benefits of LiveBrine even when combining with alcohol.

Mocktails anyone?

We know that there are plenty of non-cocktail drinkers in the world. That's why we created a balanced recipe list here including options to make cocktails WITH spirits added plus mocktails made WITHOUT spirits. There's a drink for everyone on this list to enjoy at happy hour.

Any mocktail can be a cocktail by adding spirits, but not all cocktails can be mocktails simply by removing the alcohol.  It doesn't always work that easily, some edits to the recipe may be needed by adding a few extra ounces of the non-alcoholic mixers.  Have fun with these flavors and enjoy the process of trying and making new beverages.

We've given you a variety of mocktail and cocktail recipes so you don't have to think too much about it. Let's dive into the recipes now.
