2024 was a milestone year for Olive My Pickle. From opening our dream destination store, The Pickle Factory, to celebrating our 100,000th order, this year was all about growth, gratitude, and gut health.

Where We Started: The Humble Beginnings
Fourteen years ago, Shai was homesick for his grandmother's fermented pickles and Olive My Pickle was born. It became a family affair with co-Founder, Charlotte and their two boys, who started selling pickles at the local farmer's market. Even in 2018 when they began selling online, the whole family worked together to pack orders and drop them off at the post office in the family car!
Fast forward to today, Olive My Pickle has grown into the first company to sell over 40 different fermented foods nationwide. It's always been our mission to spread awareness about the power of probiotic fermented foods to heal the gut, and we make it easy to build a box and have real, fermented food delivered right to your door!

A Message from the Co-Founders, Shai and Charlotte
2024 is coming to a close, and what a year it’s been! We’re so incredibly grateful for the continued growth and support we have received over the years.
This year was truly one for the books, where we embarked on our biggest adventure yet, opening our brand-new storefront, The Pickle Factory. The purpose behind The Pickle Factory is of course to give pickles lovers a fun, fabulous destination store dedicated to ‘All things pickles!’
But we have another reason for its creation which we’re sharing with you, our insider customer community. First, its purpose is to serve as the brick & mortar retail home for the full line of Olive My Pickle products.
We learned a long time ago that depending on traditional grocery channels for retail distribution of OMP wasn’t for us. Under the best of circumstances, a store will only ever carry a small selection of products.
Mass grocery can be a volatile channel— a small brand can do everything right and still lose its shelf space to larger brands. We learned all this by experience in 2018, which is what led us to pivot our business online to focus on ecommerce and having a direct relationship with our customers.
In creating our own retail space, we are ensuring the entire family of Olive My Pickle products stays together because this is the best way for new folks to discover the gut healing benefits of fermented foods. This has been the core mission of OMP and now The Pickle Factory.

Looking Ahead to 2025 and Beyond: What's Next for Olive My Pickle
We’ve read your comments and heard the feedback loud and clear. You want to be able to shop Olive My Pickle fermented foods in person! When you see us share about the Farmer’s Market (and now, The Pickle Factory), you have FOMO if you’re not in Jacksonville, FL.
Our longer-term plan is to franchise The Pickle Factory nationwide. That’s right, from East Coast to West Coast we want everyone to be able to connect with us at a brick & mortar store selling not just OMP fermented foods, but a variety of unique pickle brands, specialty grocery items, pickle-themed gifts, and apparel.
It’s a big vision and will take some time to achieve, and 2024 was the year it all began! Thank you for being part of this journey - we can’t wait to see what 2025 holds.
