  • Locally Sourced

We source most of our vegetables from local farms. That means just a day or two between harvest and fermentation. This preserves phytonutrients and creates a more nutritious product.

  • Salt Water Brine

We use mineral-rich, pure and unrefined Mediterranean sea salt. It’s non-iodized and contains no caking agents or added preservatives.

  • Zero Vinegar or Sugar

Pickles containing vinegar or sugar are not lactic acid fermented and therefore are not a probiotic, gut-healthy pickle. Period.

    Raw & Unpasteurized

Some call it ‘wild fermentation’ because it creates an abundant growth of natural, live probiotics. Pasteurization would kill these live cultures, so we don’t do it.

How to Eat Fermented Foods

It's a lifestyle, not a fad or a phase.

Consistently eating probiotic foods over the course of your life is the key to optimal results. A serving size, 3 times a day is about right.

Mix it up.

Consume an abundant variety of ferments. Each one has a unique microbial profile and your gut thrives on this biodiversity.

Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. Snacks.

Because 70% of your energy is spent on digestion, when you eat ferments with meals, their enzymes aid this process. The result is more energy for you.

What do fermented pickles taste like?

Many of us grew up on vinegar pickles and appreciate their sour taste. Fermented pickles are made with salt and not vinegar, so by comparison they are milder than vinegar pickles which contain acetic acid. Fermented pickles contain lactic acid so they still pack plenty of pickle punch. The fermentation process creates a distinct, and complex umami flavor that fermented foods are known and loved for.

Are fermented pickles crunchy?

Yes, their salt content makes fermented pickles nice and crunchy.

Which types of probiotic bacteria are in fermented pickles?

Fermented pickles contain 13 billion colony forming units (CFUs) of lactic acid bacteria per serving. The most abundant types of probiotic bacteria found in fermented pickles are Lactobacillus Plantarum, Lactobacillus Pentosus and Leuconostoc Mesenteroids.

What’s the best way to eat fermented pickles?

Enjoy fermented pickles as a snack, side or condiment. Slice them on your sandwich. Chop them up and toss into your favorite egg or chicken salad.

What are the health benefits of fermented pickles ?

Real, salt-water brine fermented cucumber pickles contain naturally occurring probiotics that are optimal for gut health. Raw cucumbers are nutrient-dense and fermentation increases and enhances their already high vitamin levels.

Not to brag, but people really love us.

    The PERFECT pickle!

I love all pickles, but these are the family favorite! My husband I like the Spicy Kosher Dill, but everyone can enjoy these. (The spicy variety are too much for the kiddo.) I love making veggie wraps with a sun-dried tomato wrap, red pepper humus, sharp cheddar, yellow mustard, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, red pepper, spinach, and Olive My Pickle spicy pickles for me, garlic pickles for the kiddo, and mixed Greek olives for both of us 💗

I sliced my garlic pickles so I can grab and go. Thick with a firm crunch, they are my go to snack. After I sliced them and put them in another container, I saw how much garlic was in the brine. Tons! These pickles remind me of Canter’s in Los Angeles.
